Making vegan cheese was a challenge for us. We regularly used Parmesan cheese, especially for our pasta. So we went looking for a recipe for a vegan version of it. And we found it, slightly modified it and made it regular. And now we share it with you, so that you too can enjoy this deliciousness.

One of the things that keeps us from going completely vegan is the lack of cheese. Fortunately, this recipe succeeded in replacing Parmesan cheese with a great vegan version. And easy to make and easy to store. Give it a try!

  • 50 g raw cashews
  • 3 tablespoons nutricional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pepper, salt


  • Finely grind the cashew nuts in a food processor or mortar.
  • Mix in the other ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Store in a tightly closed jar. Shelf life for several weeks.
