The recipe for this potato salad may be years old, but we still love it. Delicious with a picnic, at the barbecue or as a salad with a main course.

  • 1 kilo firm potatoes
  • 100 gr pickles
  • 100 gr silver onions
  • 50 gr capers
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise (vegan or regular)
  • 3 tbsp (vegetable) yogurt
  • 1 hand parsley


  • Boil the peeled potatoes until just tender, about 20 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and cool them in ice cold water to stop the cooking process.
  • Cut the potatoes into cubes so that the salad can be eaten with a fork or spoon.
  • Mix the mayonnaise and yogurt together and add the rest of the ingredients.
  • Taste, season with salt and pepper and garnish with chopped parsley.
