This mango mousse tastes delicious after, for example, a Mexican meal. The ginger gives it just that spicy touch that compensates for the sweetness of the mango.

Ingrediënten

  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 150 ml cream
  • 2 cm ginger root
  • 2 eetlepels lemon juice
  • 75 gram powdered sugar

Instructies

  • Peel the mangoes and cut them into pieces.
  • Peel the ginger and grate it really fine.
  • Blend the mangoes, ginger, lemon juice and icing sugar together.
  • Beat the whipped cream.
  • Remove a little mango mousse from the blender, for topping.
  • Add the mango mousse to the whipped cream and fold together.
  • Taste and add more powdered sugar if needed.
  • Fill the glass, we used a piping bag, to three quarters and add some of the reserved mango mousse on top. A raspberry completes the picture.
