These crackers of flax seeds are the perfect combination of healthy, low-carb and delicious. Perfect base for your breakfast or lunch.

Flaxseed crackers

Flaxseed crackers, one of the healthy alternatives to the ready-made toasts. We gave these an Italian flavor by adding Italian herbs, but feel free to add your own favorite herbs.

  • 160 g flaxseed flour
  • 20 g flax seed
  • 3 g salt
  • 0,5 g black pepper or a pinch
  • 2 teaspoons Italian herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 120 ml water


  • If you only have flax seeds at home, you can grind or mortar 160 grams of it so that you get a meal. This does not have to be completely fine, you also add unground flax seeds afterwards.
  • Mix all ingredients together until a dough forms.
  • Place this dough between two sheets of baking paper and roll it out thinly with a rolling pin or an empty bottle. The thinner the crackers, the tastier we like them.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Bake the crackers in the oven for 10-15 minutes. When the edges turn brown and start to curl, the crackers are ready. They will still be soft but harden as they cool.
  • Serve with one of our delicious dips.
