This broccoli rice with vegetarian chicken pieces is one of our favourites on days when we want to eat fewer carbs.Very tasty!

  • 500 gr broccoli
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 100 gr mushrooms
  • 185 gr vegetarian chiccken pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian spices
  • 1 tsp spicy smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • pepper and salt


  • Cut the broccoli into florets and grind them in a food processor, or chop very finely so that it resembles rice.
  • Cut the bell pepper into strips, chop the onion and cut the tomato and mushrooms into cubes.
  • Fry the mushrooms in a frying pan with a little olive oil until they are brown. Remove them from the pan onto a plate and set them aside.
  • Now put the rest of the olive oil in the pan and fry the onion.
  • Then add the bell pepper, tomato and broccoli and let it fry for 10 minutes.
  • Now add the mushrooms and the vegetarian chicken pieces.
  • Add the herbs and cream cheese and cook for a further 15 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
