Our sweet potato fries were always soggy, even if we fried them. Then we got a crucial tip from a friend. Since then we bake the fries in the oven with a particular twist. Try them!

After trying failed sweet potato fries 10 times, we gave up. Until we got this tip from a friend. Dry the cut chips and give them a quick shake in the flour. Tried and in one go delicious crispy oven fries on our plate. We don't do anything else anymore.

  • 1 big sized sweet potato
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder
  • olive oil, pepper, salt


  • Cut the sweet potato into fries strips.
  • Mix the flour with the paprika powder.
  • Mix the chips with the flour mixture, shake well.
  • Preheat the oven to 230 degrees.
  • Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Place the sweet potato fries on the baking tray and drizzle with a little bit of olive oil.
  • After baking for 10 minutes, shake the fries briefly so that each side becomes crispy.
