White beans in tomato sauce, a regular part of the English breakfast but we like to eat it at lunch with a nice salad on the side.

Ingrediënten
- 400 gr white beans from a jar
- 1 medium white onion
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 400 ml canned tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 table spoon Dijon mustard
- olive oil, pepper, salt
Instructies
- Fry the onion in a dash of olive oil, stir well until the onion is glazy (usually around 8 minutes)
- Add the tomato puree and stir well. Tomato puree becomes sweeter if you fry it for a while.
- Now add the tomato sauce, the Worcestershire sauce and mustard.
- Stir well and add the rinsed white beans. Season with salt and pepper.
