Banana bread with dates and hazelnuts (vegan)

  • 4 bananas (preferably a little brown)
  • 100 gr oatmeal (ground into oat flour)
  • 100 gr medjoul dates
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp flax seed grinded
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 50 gr hazelnuts
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda


  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Grind the oatmeal into flour.
  • Mix the water and flax seed flour until a paste is formed.
  • Mix all ingredients, except the hazelnuts, in a food processor until you have a moist, thick batter.
  • Crush the hazelnuts in a mortar and mix with the batter.
  • Grease a baking pan and fill it with the batter.
  • Bake the banana bread in the oven for 30 minutes.
