One of our favorite spreads. Nice on a sandwich or with a salad.

Bell pepper sandwich spread

Sandwich spreads have recently become a favorite spread in our house. They are easy to make and you can vary a lot. We'll start here with our bell pepper spread.

  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 handful parsley
  • pepper and salt


  • Cut the peppers in half and remove the seeds.
  • Peel the shallots and cut into coarse pieces. Do the same with the tomato.
  • Now add all ingredients together in the food processor or blender and blend until a spreadable spread is formed.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • This spread can be kept in the fridge for at least 5 days.
