Take your lunch to work, to a picnic or when traveling. All you need is a cup of boiling water to prepare this delicious noodle dish.

Want to bring your own lunch, go on a picnic but eat something warm? Or just with a pot on the couch? Then this dish is very suitable. You fill a jar with very finely chopped vegetables and rice noodles that are ready quickly. You fill another small jar with a spicy sauce that you can add afterwards. You take a thermos with boiling water, or ask for a cup of tea without a bag on the plane. Add the boiling water to the vegetables, add the herbs, shake and wait 5 minutes. And your delicious healthy meal is ready.

  • 100 g noodles
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 25 g bean sprouts
  • 25 g white cabbage, paksoy or chinese cabbage
  • 3 table spoons frozen peas
  • 2 table spoons Sweet soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilipepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • Fill the jar with the noodles and all the chopped vegetables.
  • Mix the ginger, chili pepper, salt and Ketjap Manis well and store in another jar.
  • Add a cup of boiling water to the noodles with vegetables.
  • Add the spice mixture. Shake the jar well and let it sit for 5 minutes.
