Super simple vegetable packages for the BBQ
How to barbecue with vegetables: very easy! Make a package out of aluminum foil. Cut the vegetables of your choice, add herbs, pepper, salt and a small splash of liquid. Close the package and let the vegetables steam on the barbecue.

Mexican package
- 1 red onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 yellow or green pepper
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tomato
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 can corn
- 1 tsp coriander seed
- 1 tsp cumin seed
- olive oil
- pepper and salt
French package
- 1 zucchini
- 1 eggplant
- 1 red onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary (or tablespoon dried)
Asian package
- 1 tbsp ginger root
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 carrot
- 100 gr green beans
- 50 gr bean sprouts
- 100 gr chestnut mushrooms
- 100 gr white cabbage
- 2 tbsp Ketjap Manis
How do you make the packages?
Cut the vegetables very small and make a plate for each type of package: Mexican, French, Asian.
Take a piece of aluminum foil, choose the package you want to make and spoon the corresponding ingredients on it.
Add spices, pepper, salt and a tablespoon of water.
Close the package to allow the vegetables to steam.
When the vegetables are cooked (within 10 minutes), remove the package from the barbecue. Be careful when opening, the water can be very hot!
Tasty combinations
Serve the Mexican parcel with a tortilla and guacamole.
Serve the French parcel with baguette and herb butter.
Serve the Asian package with Seitan satay and peanut sauce.
